A 1920 Samson sugar cane tractor, just 42′ wide, built by
General Motors. ‘As far as my research revealed, it’s the
only cane tractor built by GM, and possibly the first built by
anyone,’ says Archie Magsig, 8833 U.S. 27, DeWitt, Michigan
48820. Archie bought it off a plantation near Baton Rouge,
Louisiana, the original owner. It’s completely restored and
runs great.
