I would like to write to you occasionally when inspired by the
love of old iron. I have a varied collection and would like to have
you know about it.
The picture of a Fordson in retirement, sitting in the afternoon
sun, was taken by my daughter. Like so many people, they have left
their mark on our country and community, yet are never praised as
some proverbial statesmen.
We have to give credit to the people who used this old equipment
from sunrise to sunset. It took endurance, determination and belief
in Almighty God to put in those long, productive days that
benefited us all.
