The third annual Foertsch John Deere Plow Day was held on
Saturday, August 31, 1991, at the John Foertsch farm near
Saxonburg, Pennsylvania. Those present were: Paul Foertsch of
Saxonburg with his 1947 Model G; Adam Steubgen of Butler with his
1949 Model B; Earl Foertsch of Butler with his 1950 Model AW; Hank
Wessel of Gibsonia with his 1954 Model 50; Sam Moore of Salem, Ohio

As you can see from the pictures, the ground was dry and hard.
There were approximately 30 acres plowed.

Quite a number of neighbors and friends stopped by during the
day. The ladies set up a fine carry-in dinner at noon. A very
enjoyable day was had by all present.
