Unusual features of this engine are: the ignitor uses a vertical
trip lever-this is done by two rocker arms tied together with a
push rod; the flywheels have hollow portions for counter weight,
leaving the outside smooth (no indentations). The Emerson type
‘S’ was introduced about 1914.
