Philip Bigarel of Gouverneur, sent us this photo of his 1955 New
Holland SP 166 self-propelled hay baler, which pulls a hay wagon
behind. It is powered by two 15 HP Wisconsin engines.

Bigarel reports that when he took the restored equipment to a
show, many people had never seen one like it before.

New Holland, a Lancaster County, Pennsylvania manufacturer, was
again in the news early in October, when Ford Motor Company
announced that it would buy the company from its current parent,
Sperry Corporation.
