My family and I have enjoyed and used the Steam and Gas Show
Directory, and thanks to that publication, we attended an antique
gas engine show in Ohio almost every weekend last year.

Shown here is a picture of our 1920 Rumely 20-40 Oil Pull. It
was originally owned by my father, Robert H. Olinger, who was one
of the charter members of the Antique Power Club of Clinton County.
He pulled this Rumely out of a field in the early 1970s and fixed
it up to exhibit at shows and parades. Upon his unexpected death in
1989, my sister, brother and I and our families acquired the Oil
Pull and have had a great deal of pleasure with it since.

We formed our own group using the initials of our last
names-Atley, Glenn, Olinger-and called our club ‘Long Time
AGO.’ Between us all we have a number of antique tractors and
gas engines, but our hearts remain with our Rumely Oil Pull.

The picture was taken at the Clinton County Corn Festival in
Wilmington, Ohio. It is shown being operated by Dennis Atley and
David Glenn.
