We got a note recently from Sam Olson of Box 97, Scobey, Montana
59263, who said: ‘Being a long time subscriber, I have never
seen a Crossley or Thermoil engine in your magazine.
‘The Crossley in the picture with me is a 19? HP. The
Thermoil is a Model T 5 HP, #3141.’
Sam thought his engines would look nice on the back cover, so
here they are. While we feel certain we have had Thermoil and
Crossley engines in the magazine before, perhaps not in color and
on the same page!
