This is my Galloway Handy Andy. Unfortunately, I can’t tell
you how I found this engine in the woods or hiding behind
someone’s barn for years, as no such story goes with this
engine.
I actually bought it from a fellow collector who had owned it at
least ten years and was very aware of its value and desirability.
After about three years of trying, I finally talked him into
parting with it.
Although I haven’t invested any blood, sweat and tears in
restoring it, I still get tremendous pleasure in cleaning, running
and showing this dandy Handy Andy around the Northeast.
