June being a popular month for weddings, we thought you might
enjoy seeing these photos.
Subscriber Verne Kindschi, S 9008 B U.S. Hwy 12, Prairie Du Sac,
WI 53578, sent the picture on the left, saying, ‘The two big
events for me this year: I bought and restored this 2 HP Woodmanse
engine, and our daughter Sue was married May 26th. (The engine was
cheaper.)’
On the right, Richard Dosdall, Route 3, Red Wing, MN 55066, and
his bride Jill use his 1924 17-30 Minneapolis tractor as
transportation from the church to their reception four miles away.
Restoration of the tractor, which was brought to Minnesota from
North Dakota in many pieces, took approximately one year of
Richard’s spare time.
