In dirt and grime toil.
The smell of old oil.

Flaking, faded paint;
With patience of a saint.

Blue jeans and overalls,
Precision tools or mauls.

Eager, aging, little boys.
Working on antique toys.

Old iron in their veins.
Enduring expense and pains.

Men of kind hearts;
A whole, more than parts.

Simple and forthright
With uncommon foresight.

Restoring history’s gift;
Father Time’s face lift.

Engines, tractors and such;
Reality to touch.

Machinery’s borrowed soul.
These men have a goal.

Give joy and appreciation
To the next generation.
