On April 16, 2000 my family and I were in Boaz, Alabama. I saw
in a junkyard what appeared to be a T model truck. We stopped to
see if the man would sell it. He said he would, so I bought it. The
next week, two of my friends went with me to pick it up. On the way
home, we stopped to eat lunch. I saw a man outside looking at the T
model. He came in and sat down. A few minutes later another man
came in and sat down. The first man asked whose T model that was
sitting on the trailer. I told him it was mine. He told me, if I
needed some parts for it, he knew someone who had some. The second
man said it sure was going to need some. We got the T model home
and took it apart. We painted, sanded, scraped and hammered.
Finally we got it together on October 15, 2000. We drove it to a
restaurant in town to eat lunch.

If you would like to see this T model, come to the Fenders
Antique Tractor and Engine
show in Sweetwater, Tennessee, on
July Hand 15, 2001.
