Just for Fun
207 Church Road Mountaintop, Pennsylvania 18707-2342
Valley Historical Engine Association was started by four people
in 1979. Of those, one quit, one moved, and one is deceased, but
Richard Ayre and his wife Marian continue to have a just-for-fun
show on Father’s Day.
Marian and few helpful ladies serve burgers, hot dogs, beans,
coffee, sodas, etc., so no need to bring a picnic basket. We start
at 7:30 a.m. and run until 5:00 p.m. Sometimes 25 exhibitors come
to show about 40 engines. Last year we had three tractors (green),
a few pedal tractors, a whole trailer of hand water pumps, a few
antique autos, and a trailer of generators. We just have fun!
