I would like to have the enclosed picture and information put in
your ‘What Is It’ section; so that I could get a back
ground on it. As I have wrote Mr. Lewis H. Cline, Battle Creek,
Michigan, and he says he is unable to help me, but he does consider
it a rare find, and for me to let him know what I do find out on
this engine.
The following is just as it appears on the brass plate.
Engine No. 3341 H.P. 1?
Leader – Domestic
Mgr. For Leader Iron Works
Decatur, 111. By Domestic Engine & Pump Co.
Shippensburg, Pa.
As the picture shows it is a side shalf, that had make &
break ignt., but was converted to spark plug when I got it. Runs
fine.
