This is a picture of my Happy Face Gas Tank!
My Tom Thumb had set all winter with a full tank of gas and a
battery in the box. Walking by, I threw the switch and turned the
flywheel to see if the coil buzzed, BOOM!!! and I was standing in a
pool of gasoline on the floor. Why it didn’t ignite I’ll
never know. If it had ignited I’m sure I would not be writing
this. The moral: Be careful out there.
Looking things over afterwards I discovered the spark wire was
lying on the gas tank!
