BEN W. EPPING passed away May 8,1982, at age 69. He was a long-time resident of Funk, Nebraska, where he farmed all his working life, except for the four years he served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was an avid engine and tractor collector enjoying this hobby for 16 years. The last several years after his retirement, he had spent many hours working with them in the shop. Along with his son Rodney, he visited many shows and very much enjoyed exhibiting the old equipment and making new friends.
Rumely Oil Pulls were always the big favorite and if you were hunting for Ben at a show, you just had to look for the Oil Pulls.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

WILLIS BRADY LEAR, 72, died April 22, 1982 at Louisville, Kentucky. He was a retired machinist for C. Lee Cook Co., and a member of Clifton Heights Babtist Church. He traveled with O. B. Coomer, Jr. and his outboard motor display. He will be missed by all who knew him.

HENRY S. WHETSTON, 65, of Shipshwana, Indiana, passed away recently of a heart attack. He built a 1/3-scale Avery threshing machine, all steel, by hand. He also liked steam engines and had run a threshing rig for years. He will be missed by all.
