RUBEN MICHELSON was taken from our midsts in January 1979. Ruben was nicknamed ‘Gas Engine Mike’ and mail addressed to him that way at Anamoose, North Dakota, arrived without incident. He was dedicated to his efforts of giving the world ‘A History of Gas Engine and Manufacturers Names in USA and Canada from 1877 to our present time.’ Over 1600 different engine names are recorded and have been used by all devoted chugger men.
