As we go to press this month, we have some sad news to pass
along to our readers. Anna Mae Branyan, who for many years wrote
the Smoke Rings column in this magazine, has passed away
unexpectedly. Although Anna Mae had numerous health challenges, she
valiantly met them, holding steadfastly to her very powerful
Christian faith. She was an inspiration to all of us at Stemgas,
and we will tell you more about her and her family in our next
issue.
Anna Mae’s passing is a reminder to us of the great value of
the warm fellowship shared by readers and contributors to this
magazine. Gas engines and tractors may be the common threads
shared, but the long and cherished friendships developed through
working together are so important.
