PUBLISHER’S LETTER

By Staff

We are still very enthusiastic about our 1993 Show Directory,
which is a record 176 pages this year. We got a wonderful response
to our request for show photos to use in the Directory, but
unfortunately, we couldn’t use nearly as many as we would have
liked. Thus, we thought you’d enjoy seeing a sampling of
colorful ‘show life’ you’ll find on pages 68 and 69.
Again, many thanks to all of you who provided the information for
our directory, and to all those who advertise or purchase
copies.

You’ll see a note in Reflections this month about our Tour
of England. Response for the tour has been very good, with over 50
people ready to go! Don’t forget to make your reservations soon
if you intend to join them, as there is a limit to the tour size.
Dates are June 19-July 3, and brochures are available from our
office, just write or call and ask for one.

By the time you read this our latest 5-year Index to GEM by
Donald Siefker should be at the printer it covers 1988-1992. This
is our last planned index to be published in booklet form we plan
to add a yearly index to GEM in the future, probably in each
year’s February or March issue.

Auction activity, a harbinger of Spring, is heating up as the
weather grows warmer. We hope you find rare bargains at these sales
from whence come the future stories!
