‘The engine is a three HP John Deere. The rear wheels are
off a Sears Roebuck horse drawn mowing machine. The steering wheel
is off an old thrashing machine wind stacker.
‘The frame is off an old WD Allis Chalmers tool box bedder
frame. The transmission is a cut down Ford Pinto. The front
pedestal shaft is off a 44 Massey Harris brake cross shaft for the
left brake. The steering worm is off an old Massey Harris pull type
combine reel. I made the steering sector and the fenders.
‘My grandson is very proud of it and drives it in
parades.’ Miller has numerous old tractors and gas engines in
his collection.
