McCormick-Deering Woodland Relic

This shows a photo of a piece of McCormick-Deering farm equipment I found on newly acquired property. It’s not a very good photo but I could not get the piece out of the woods and the right rear wheel has a tree growing through it. The numbers “08” are cast on the ball joints, but there are no other markings. Does anyone know what this is? ?
