On August 21, 1999 CLAIR C. FISHER, age 72, of East Concord, New
York, passed away after a sudden and brief illness.

Clair had worked as an insurance adjuster, and since his
retirement was enjoying life with his wife and grandchildren. He
enjoyed the time spent with family, especially with the grand
children which he planned his time around. Also, Clair enjoyed
attending  the local engine show and the annual East Concord
Steam and Gas Show.

During his retirement years Clair had collected some stationary
engines, Gravely garden tractors with attachments, literature, and
toys.

He was a member of the Tucker Automobile Club of America, had a
great knowledge and history of these cars, attended the Tucker Car
Meets, and collected literature and other related Tucker items.

Clair was a volunteer fireman, member of the East Concord Fire
Department, serving as a charter member and past secretary; he was
a current member at the time of his death.

He was also a talented writer and had always helped me with
writing articles for the engine magazines.

Clair is survived by his wife, two daughters and sons-in-law,
and three grandchildren.

He will be missed by family and friends.

Submitted by his friend, Mark V. Ballachino, 172 N. Cascade
Drive, Springville, New York 14141.
