My friend and fellow ‘engineer’ Herschel Thornell had
the idea and I followed through.

I drilled a ¹³/₁₆‘ hole in a short
piece of angle iron, pushed a BBQ grill igniter into the hole,
mounted this where the magneto should go, adjusted and aligned for
the trip finger to plunge, and it works great.

My Hadacol bottle gas tank is telling of my age!
