In a recent issue, GEM asked for more photos of old
engines and machinery. This photo was left among my father’s
things. He was G.O. Maulsby, 1873-1962, and served as what we might
call today a technical representative for the International
Harvester Co. out of the Birmingham, Ala., office for some time
between 1900 and 1920. He delivered, installed and trained owners
in the use and care of their new machinery.
Note how the engine was blocked from rocking against the belt.
Can anyone identify the equipment?
