I enjoy Gas Engine Magazine, especially the model
section. As a retired heavy equipment mechanic, I love engines. I
have spent much of my spare time building scale models of antique
engines.

I have included photos of two examples of the scale engines I
own: An 1891 Backus 3 HP, 2-cycle pump – the pump cylinder pumps
air and fuel to the run cylinder; and a 1910 Morton opposed piston.
This is a unique 4-cycle engine.

Thanks again for the magazine and all who contribute to make it
great.
