What is it? I found this at a local scrap yard in Freeport, Ill.
A belt ran a rear pump that pressurizes a tank pushing fluid
through tubes that go through the exhaust manifold on the bottom of
the cylinder castings. After this point I’m not sure what happens
because someone cut off something from the front at two points. The
head is made from aluminum and appears to have two glow coils in
the side. The flywheels have been rebalanced and the connecting
rods are made of brass. I can’t find a name anywhere. Is this a
homemade diesel? Chris Markley, 519 E. Locust, Lanark, IL 61046;
