I would like to find as much information as I can on Stover
Model X engines. I have an 8 HP, serial no. X86574. I have seen 6
HP Model Xs around, but this is the only 8 HP. I did find a
reference to an 8 HP in one of C.H. Wendel’s books, but no specific
information. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Steve Vining,
