I just bought an Alpha De Laval Type VW, serial no. 75128. I
don’t know the horsepower, as this is not stamped on the tag. I do
not know if this engine is complete. Does anyone know if there are
any springs in the governor? It has a Wico Type B1 (008773)
magneto, which is rusted beyond fixing. Also, what year was this
manufactured? It has a long subbase that the engine was bolted to –
for a milk machine?
