The third weekend of October was our Ozark Heritage Festival and
our 5th annual engine show. The fall colors were at their peak and
beautiful. We had nice fall weather, cool evenings and mild
days.

The show consisted of gas engines and antique tractors. We had
wheat threshing, corn meal grinding, sorghum making, rope making
and lots of crafters. We also had a cast iron seat display, an
antique tool display, and a horse drawn equipment display, too.

Trophy pins and plaques were given away. This year Bruce McMurry
won the trophy for his antique Case tractor, for the second time.
Trophy for engine was presented to Darrell Brubaker of Kokomo,
Indiana.

We had exhibitors from five states and our festival is getting
bigger each year. A good time was enjoyed by all. Look for the
announcement of next year’s festival in GEM. Thanks to all
exhibitors and visitors. See you all next year!
