In 1987 I first wrote an article that told you about our
Miniatureland building which was 16′ x 20′. We have since
outgrown our space several times, and will soon undergo our third
expansion. In cooperation with LeSueur County Pioneer Power
Association members and directors, Miniatureland will be housed
under a new 42′ x 60′ steel building, The new Miniatureland
will include additional display areas, inside and out, for model
steam and gas engines, trains and other models and miniature
items.

In the past years, Miniatureland has seen many fine collections.
Of the exhibitors that displayed their models and collections,
there were one hundred fifty working model gas engines, forty
operating model steam engines, eighteen hot air engines, one live
steam locomotive and twenty five miniature machinery items. Forty
five model

builders and collectors from Minnesota and surrounding states of
Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska and as far away as California, Idaho,
Kansas, Illinois and Maryland have been the key to making the 1989
Le Sueur County Pioneer Power Show, Miniatureland a success. 1990
should provide our annual show with new attractions and exciting
exhibits to see. Thanks to all the spectators and exhibitors who
made the 1989 show the best ever. We invite old friends and new to
our 1990 Pioneer Power Show August 24-26.
