The International Harvester Collectors, a club to preserve the
history of International Harvester Co., was formed in July 1990
with 200 members signed up in the first day. Nine directors were
elected by the end of 1990, and 800 charter members had signed up.
To date, we have over 2,000 members and are still growing.
The first annual meeting was held in Winamac, Indiana in 1990,
where the club was born. The second annual meeting was held at
Janesville, Wisconsin, in September 1991. The third annual meeting
was held at Marion, Ohio, in June 1992. The fourth meeting will be
held at Boonville, Missouri in September 1993. Plans are to have
umbrella chapters formed in various states which we have already.
These and two more are in progress.
