On December 2, 1990 the first official Directors meeting of
‘International Harvester Collectors’ was held. A noon meal
at Colonial Inn Restaurant in Winamac, Indiana, followed by a four
hour meeting at Berkshire Implement at Royal Centre, Indiana, was
attended by all nine directors, advisors, and guests, totalling
about 30 people.

Representatives from the Rock River Thresheree, and the IH Scout
and Light Truck Association, as well as advisors from Michigan and
Illinois who are interested in forming local chapters, were
present.

Business accomplished was the approval of the official by-laws,
election of officers, and an agreement with Rock River Thresheree,
at Edgerton, Wisconsin, to host our national convention (Red Power
Round-up) on Labor Day Weekend 1991. Some basic requirements for
local chapters, a display for the 1991 Farm Progress Show, and
routine business matters were discussed.

Officers for 1991 are: president, Fremont Hoover, Winamac; vice
president, Clyde Berkshire, Royal Centre; secretary, Howard Lord,
Burnettsville; treasurer, Randy Sottong, Kempton.

International Harvester Collectors is an association of IH
enthusiasts, welcoming all areas of interest, which was formed July
21, 1990 at an organizational meeting held at the Northern Indiana

stamped envelope to International Harvester Collectors, R.R. 2, Box
