3007 Twin Creeks Lane, Rocklin, California 95677
Another great showing at the fair again this year, September 9
through 12, at Auburn, California. The big hit was the beautiful
Yuba Ball. Don and Patti Dougherty and their crew from STL TIKN
machinery had her all shined up and running great. Bill Santos had
his latest Best 25 running like new, along with his Galloway hit
and miss. Bill Jr. brought a rear seat Cat 30. Jason Ludford showed
up with his Cat 10, 22, 30. Jack Garrison cut firewood with his 7
HP Economy saw rig. Bill Sommers and his 1? HP Fairbanks and a 2?
HP Economy never stopped.
My dad and I brought out our 6 HP Weber for the first time and
it never missed a beat all four days. Gary and Gail Nored’s 12
HP Samson never stopped. Shows how good California built engines
are! Ron Ludford’s 10 HP Fairbanks ran a blower that kept a
beach ball floating and the kids loved it. His 2 HP Fairbanks H ran
a smaller blower that helped keep us cool. Craig Barton’s eight
cycle aermotor drew a crowd and Jim Chamberlin had a Cletrac with a
few minor changes.
Thanks to everyone for taking time to show. Stop by my web page
at www.jps.net/cricket and say HI!!!
