These are pictures of a small Cunningham engine. It is of four stroke design. I think it's about a 3 HP. It was bought at a garage sale in Waterloo, Iowa for $1.00. I put gas in it and it runs great!

The nameplate states that James Cunningham Son & Co. was
established in 1838. My engine is a Model EA, serial number 4865.
The ‘Big Book’ reads that not much is known about these
engines. Maybe this should be in ‘the book’ someday?

Neither I myself nor my engine friends have ever seen or heard
of these engines before. I thought you folks would like to hear
about this Cunningham.
