Sec Blue Ridge Steam & Gas Assn., Rt. 1, Box 96 Weyers Cave,
Virginia 24486.

For the third straight year the Virginia Shenandoah Valley
echoed to the sound of steam engines, gas tractors of all sizes,
hit and miss engines, and a variety of related antique farm
equipment displayed at the Weyers Cave Fire Department show grounds
by the Blue Ridge Steam & Gas Association.

The four day show started on Wednesday with the kiddie pedal
tractor pull. It drew fifteen fierce competitors this year, with
every puller getting a plaque. Thursday was the friendly antique
tractor pull, which had 66 pullers in fifteen classes. Friday and
Saturday there was threshing, wood sawing, hay baling, chain saw
artist, and 103 models of all sorts running. On Saturday evening
was the antique car and tractor parade in downtown Weyers Cave.

What was so delightful was the different exhibits that were
shown from the many states that were present, including New York,
Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, North and South Carolina,
and Florida. There were a total of 175 exhibitors this year.

Our next show will be staged in June of 1991 from the 26th
through the 29th. We also extend a cordial invitation to all
exhibitors everywhere to come to our show which is a short distance
off Interstate 81, Exit 60.
