We heard from Roy Blizzard, Jr., Gandy’s Beach Road,
Newport, NJ 08345, who sent us these pictures of his current corn
sheller restoration.
The sheller was found in the woods in Newport, New Jersey, as
shown in photo #1. Photo #2 shows most wood work with all new
mortise joints cut and fit. Photo #3 shows progress, which is
completed in Photo #4. The only marking found on the sheller is the
patent date of April 5, 1892. Photo #5 shows the sheller complete
and working well. If anyone knows what make this sheller might be,
Roy would greatly appreciate your sharing the information with
him.
