Remember those days before the internet made the buying process as simple as several clicks and a credit card number? Before “Buy Now” was an option, print ads used mail-in coupons to collect customer information and send interested individuals more details and catalogs filled with their products. These advertisements from Edwards Farm Engine and Witte Engine Works include all the things that would entice a customer in the market for a new engine: positive testimonials, numerous guarantees, superior performance statements, and even a free trial offer to prove the claims before purchasing.

Thank you for sharing, David!
