This is a Witte engine, serial #37191. I purchased this engine
from Paul Cox of Lebanon, Kentucky last spring and reworked it
during the summer.

The engine was on a two car barge that ran on the Kentucky River
for years until it was retired out of service. It then rested in a
barn for several years until Mr. Cox purchased it.

It is an 8 HP headless with a Webster high tension magneto on
it, and now runs great after a little tender loving care and work
on it.
