You could win this 1/4-scale Red Wing gas engine!
It isn’t often that you get the chance to win a fully-functional gas engine just by submitting your name and e-mail address, but that’s exactly what you can do in the latest Farm Collector/Gas Engine Magazine sweepstakes sponsored by Red Wing Motor Co., a division of PM Research.
Up for grabs is a 1/4-scale Red Wing engine valued at $2,750. Inspired by the 5 HP Red Wing engine built by the Red Wing Motor Co. of Red Wing, Minn., in the early 1900s, it is a fully-functional model that runs on regular gasoline and uses a buzz coil as an ignition source. It has a bore and stroke of 1-1/4-inch by 2-inch, and is 18 inches long, 10 inches wide and 12 inches high. The engine will be completely machined, painted, assembled, tested and ready to run for one lucky winner.
All you need to do to win is sign up! And if you want to see what you could win in person, be sure to visit the Farm Collector/Gas Engine Magazine booth at the Tri-State Gas Engine and Tractor Show in Portland, Ind., Aug. 24-28, the Midwest Old Threshers Reunion in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, Sept. 1-5, and the Mother Earth News Fair in Seven Springs, Pa., Sept. 24-25.
