Oyster Tongs Engine

These pictures are of an International Harvester 1 HP, type LB
gas engine. It was purchased at Mathews, Virginia, in the mid-1940s
and was used in a boat to power oyster tongs until the mid-1960s.
After being idle in a shed for more than 30 years, it was restored
to this condition by Eugene Brooks of Gwynn, Virginia, and me. I
now own and operate the engine.
