At right you will find a picture of a walking beam hot air
engine I recently finished building. It was built entirely with
scrap wood and metals. It burns alcohol for fuel, has 16′
flywheels, and runs very nicely at about 250-300 r.p.m. There have
been several articles on hot air engines in the past; I thought
subscribers might enjoy seeing this one.
