Here’s the latest Pioneer Gas Engine Association engine news. The annual Spring Gas-Up in May was fairly well attended. It was quite cool, but at
least it didn’t rain. There were about
45 gas engines and five tractors on exhibit; also a drag saw and a
steamer.

The final plans for the 1968 Annual Reunion are about made.
There will be an auction at 2:00 on Saturday afternoon. All
proceeds will go to the Association. On Sunday there will be a
garden tractor pull. Weigh-ins will start at 10:00 A.M. with the
pull to start at 2:00 P.M. There is to be four classes according to
the combined weight of the tractor and driver. A small entrance fee
will be charged. It is open to anyone 10 years of age and over.
Prizes of cash and trophies will be given.

Reunion dates are July 26, 27 and 28th at Fairville, N.Y., four
miles north of Newark on Route 88. We are also planning on a tent
of household antiques.
