In the past I’ve written with information and also have sent
some photos. I look forward to the pictures of engines and the good
stories that people share every month with us subscribers.
I’d like all of you to have a look at a photo of my latest
engine. I found this engine in the northern part of West Virginia
quite a few years ago, but thought it to be out of my price range.
The engine remained in my mind and finally got the best of me, so
last spring I bought it and spent most of summer 1989 restoring it.
It was in pretty good shape to start with, so I really don’t
have much of a story to go along with it.
I hope someone enjoys seeing the finished engine. It is a 6 HP
Bessemer, 650 r.p.m. 2 cycle, serial #C1263. Very good runner.
