My Buncha Junque Engine consists of a ’72 Maytag crankcase,
a broken crankshaft, two valve hand-wheels (of different sizes, of
course), an old pitcher pump base, a check valve with needle valve
threaded into the bottom of it, a mailbox letter for a choke, a
peanut can for a fuel tank, fork lift points for a timer, a model T
Ford coil for an ignitor, and a ‘600’ Polaroid film pack
for a battery. Total cost was $10.00 for the crankcase and about
three hours work. It even runs in both directions!
