11795 Co. T. K., Lancaster, Wisconsin 53813.

My son was interested in old engines, so we overhauled and
painted it. I sent to Freeport, Illnois for what information I
could get. The engine was manufactured June 26, 1905, and shipped
to C. W. Knapp & Son, a dealer at Lancaster, Wisconsin, on July
31, 1905. It was bought by a neighbor, who later moved on to
homestead in Montana and gave the engine to my father. He used it
on a wood lathe.

The Stover just sat until a couple of years ago. Now it draws
attention at shows. We don’t have the gas pump, so the gas runs
from a tank by gravity.
