Last fall I attended the Third Antique Farm Machinery Show held
on the farm of Mr. David Craycraft near Winchester, Kentucky in
Clark County. Both David and his lovely wife, Pauline, made us feel
right at home.

There were over 100 engines on display, including a mill
grinding out flour-pumps pumping water, a rock crusher and a
display of old hand tools. Some of the engines that I took note of
were: Fairbanks Morse, Witte, Bohon, Hagan, McCormick Deering,
Economy, Stover, Sattley, Domestic, Fuller & Johnson, and
several Delco light plants, a Delaval cream separator engine, a
Case tractor, John Deere Minneapolis Moline and McCormick Deering
F-12.

In addition to the engines and tractors, there were two fire
trucks and six antique cars.

A great time was shared by all visiting and swapping stories-
exchanging ideas about what works best. Everyone was greeted by the
Craycraft’s little dog, Smokey.

I will be looking forward to visiting the Craycrafts again in
September.
