Thanks to a good weatherman, The Northern Indiana Power from the
Past recently hosted its seventh annual Farm Toy Show on an ideal
winter day. Sunday, January 15, 1995 dawned fairly warm and sunny,
providing families the opportunity to travel to Winamac,
Indiana.

Approximately 1,900 people viewed the displays provided by 48
vendors. Coming from Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin,
New York, and Pennsylvania, the vendors agreed it was a great show
growing and improving each year.

In addition to the featured farm toys, other items to be seen
and appreciated were airplanes, brand apparel, crafts, ceramics,
race cars, memorabilia, and other miscellaneous items.

The show was held in the Winamac Elementary School gym.
Attendees were treated to a seating area where they could view
video tapes of summer tractor and engine shows. Always available at
the show are the club’s famous pork sandwiches and homemade
pie.

If you are looking for a low-cost family-oriented good time, the
Power from the Past group thinks you will find it at their 8th
annual show which will be held on January 21, 1996. Winamac,
Indiana, is located at the junction of US Highway #35 and State
Road #14.

The Board of Directors and the committee members thank all who
attended and made the 1995 show a success. They extend an
invitation to all who would like to join them for some winter fun
in 1996. Hope to see you there!
