The 9th Mill Road Threshermans Celebration and Antique Car Show
took place on July 13-15 at the Effingham County Fairgrounds at
Altamont, Illinois.

We opened on Friday noon with set-up and moving in machinery.
President Louis Milleville brought in the threshing machine, and
Ben Winter brought in his 80 HP Munce oil engine, Emerson
Brantingham and a Nichols & Shepard steam engine. Ed Jansen
brought his Rumely Oilpull and a JD hay press. Charles Miller and
his wife were there with their scale Reed model, and William
Rentfro was there with his small steam engine grinding white
corn.

Saturday it was cool, in the 50’s, and we threshed, baled
and ground. We also pulled toy tractors and pedal tractors.

On Sunday we had an antique car show, with Art Trost in charge.
We threshed and baled and ground and had a good time and went
home.

See you this year on July 12, 13, and 14,1991.
