We had a nice summer day with 58 engines including a Maytag
still under the washer.
Notable engines were: Sandwich, Galloway, Stover, one
approximately 8-9 HP Sattley, Alamo, Economy, Lauson, Hercules,
Famous, Novo, Stewart, Fuller and Johnson, a wide assortment of
John Deere, McCormick Deering, International, and Fairbanks-Morse.
There were two running models, and a gentleman carried around a
model steam engine that looked like a lot of hours were put into
its creation. There were a few drag saws and a Barco gas powered
jack hammer.
I think the oldest engine was a 1912 Fuller and Johnson air
cooled that rotated backwards and ran a pump jack.
The tractors were represented by a Co-op, an Allis-Chalmers and
various John Deeres.
Great fun was had by all and special thanks are in order for all
of those who put in the time and effort to make this show a
must-attend event.
The show is held in conjunction with the Hell’s Canyon Days.
So many things to do so little time but we did hit the toy show,
breakfast, museum, yard sales, Hot Rod Show and Shine, and the
fantastic barbecue. We missed the Bull-O-Rama & Square Dancing,
but will try to take those all in next year. We would like to thank
again all the hard working people who put this event on and will
look forward to seeing everyone there this year on June 7.
