The 1985 Boswell Show was held in perfect weather and the number
of attendees continues to increase yearly. The centerpiece of our
show was Eddie Dalton’s Case steam traction engine paired with
the separator owned by Gary Guthridge. The Dillman brothers
attracted lots of attention each of the three days with the
skillful operation of their sawmill.

For the first time, Carter Dalton Awards were made. Exhibit
winners were: Jim Coyle for his model steam traction engine; Jerry
Lothridge who exhibited a nicely restored 4 WD Massey Harris; and
Eddie and Shirley Cox for their 6 HP Associated Jerry Boy.

Our hoosier hospitality remains as friendly as ever and
we’ve formed an official group known as the Illiana Antique
Power Association. We’re looking forward to another great year
and hope you’ll visit us at the beautiful Benton County
Fairgrounds August 15, 16 and 17.
