I am a new subscriber to your magazine and enjoy them very
much.

I have been working on a couple of projects that you may be
interested in. The first, an ice cream maker, has since been put on
wheels to be pulled behind the pulling tractor.

The pulling tractor has five Twin Maytags with a two speed gear
box that can be shifted full throttled-a three speed with reverse
transmission and a Positrack rear end. The 90° gear box below the
oiler was homemade from parts of an old Johnson outboard motor. The
cart beside it is for starting tractor engines. I used an old Ford
starter, had windings put in to reverse the starter to go the right
direction. So far these have been hand built by me only.

At the present time I have put the tractor on hold because of
three back operations. Someday I hope to complete the tractor. I
have made lots of ice cream and taken the tractor out several
times. So far no serious problems with breakdowns.

I was hoping to make some shows in my area but Doc says NO.
Maybe next year because of one more operation.

In the meantime, I look forward to my next magazine. It helps me
keep my sanity when I know I can’t play with my toys.
